Looking for Whales.

Wade Hughes is a celebrated underwater whale photographer, author and diving enthusiast. Arriving in Australia as a Ten Pound Pom, his family settled in South Australia. Living by the ocean he felt an instant connection with the water and when he was a young adult decided to move to Western Australia, due to its ‘Californian lifestyle’ and endless Open Ocean. Wade has turned his love for the ocean into a career, taking multiple diving trips with his adored wife Robyn to observe and photograph marine life. In particular they love travelling to the Azores and Tonga where they’ve helped scientist by observing and studying the behaviour of Whales. Wade and Robyn released a photography book called ‘Looking for Whales’, which showcases many of their stunning images, of whales in the deep blue sea.
