Community Involvement
As active members of the Western Australian community, Leanne O’Dea Funeral Directors are dedicated to giving back through community engagement. We firmly believe that community involvement is integral to upholding our commitment to excellence as “the leaders in funeral service”.
Donations
Leanne O’Dea collaborates with charitable organizations throughout the WA community, engaging in a variety of initiatives.
Our team enthusiastically contributes to projects ranging from annual Christmas appeal drives to local community endeavors.
Events & Information Sessions
Empowering our community with information sessions and event stalls at community centres, sporting clubs, nursing homes, self-help organisations and our branches.
Environment
At Leanne O’Dea, we prioritize two main objectives: minimizing our daily plastic consumption and fostering a more sustainable future.
To tackle plastic pollution, we actively participate in the Containers for Change program, repurposing plastic bottles that qualify at designated depots.
Moreover, through our Memorial Grove program in partnership with Trillion Trees Australia, our dedicated staff volunteers annually plant native trees. This initiative not only honors the lives of those entrusted to our care but also contributes to the greenery and sustainability of Western Australia’s future.
Sponsorship
We sponsor various groups in the community to assist their research or support worthwhile projects which benefits the whole community.
Sports & Recreation
We also know that sports and recreation are integral to a healthy and happy community and Leanne O’Dea feel privileged to be part of many local bowling, golfing and recreation clubs.
The Bowra & O'Dea Classic
Leanne O’Dea value our commitment to Women’s golf and the broader golfing community in WA. We aspire to continue serving the WA community through our dedication to nurturing our golfing partnerships and local initiatives.
Part of the Community
Offering support where we can to areas such as health, youth, employment, multiculturalism and the environment, is integral to the ethics of our family and business.
