Todd Pearson’s Inspiring Story
Swimming Legend.
Todd Pearson is an Australian swimming champion, winning 2 Olympic gold medals while representing Australia at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Now inducted into the WA Hall of Champions for his outstanding achievements and contribution to swimming, he recalls there’s no greater feeling than representing your country. Growing up he suffered from asthma and was recommended swimming by his doctor to help improve his symptoms. Years on, that paid off when we was picked to swim in the Olympic team along side Ian Thorpe, Michael Klim, and Bill Kirby where they famously set a world record by beating the US team for the first time in Olympic history. Now a father to two, he encourages his kids to be the best they can be and works long side his dad on a family business.
