Rabia Siddique’s Inspiring Story

Rabia Siddique is a woman with many titles, she is an Australian criminal and human rights lawyer, retired British Army officer, author, professional speaker and hostage survivor. She started off her career as a lawyer in Perth in criminal law and human rights, her true calling was to practise in the area of humanitarian law which she then went on to do. She moved into a position with the British Army as a legal officer, where her role was to give legal advice for the Armed Forces and Iraqi Government. Rabia then had to fight for her own equal rights after she became a hostage survivor, which is a remarkable story in itself. After 13 years abroad and a mother to triplet boys, Rabia was ready to move back to Perth so her boys could enjoy all that Perth has to offer. An inspiring woman with an incredible story to tell!
