Doreen. Such a warm caring beautiful lady.
I first met Doreen at my workplace. We would have long chats while she was buying jewellery for a family member. She always asked about my family & she remembered their names when we chatted. Always caring & interested in how they were. We formed a special bond & even after I retired I would cross paths with her at the shops & the chats were always the caring questions of how my family were. In knowing her family I am very thankful for Genna always letting me know how Doreen was going.
To Sharon & family please know how beautiful your Mum was & how she loved you all.

Another chapter closed in the book of memories of the Beros/Gibson/White families. Many times spent together sharing Birthdays, Christmases and meals with the late Elaine and Steve Beros blending the Croatian/Australian heritage and enjoying each other's cultures and food over many years.

Mrs White, you were a wonderful neighbour. You were a surrogate Granny to Jennii and Alan, a wonderful friend to my parents Solly and Thelma.
There are just so many memories that come to mind, most happy and some sad. You are going to be sorely missed. A very special lady. Rest in peace Mrs. White. With much love, Thalia, Peter, Jennii and Alan.

Memories of Our Beautiful Nanna White – From Harper, Seb, Noah and Mila ❤️

Nanna we will miss you more than words can say. These are some of the things we will never forget and cherish always.

Every visit always began with head kisses and the biggest hugs, followed by our usual routine of saying hello and sneaking off to scope out the back room for chips and chocolates! It was an unwritten rule that we always shared the biggest chip with you and how somehow you always ended up with more chips than us!

We will always remember our holiday fish and chips dinners, the extra money you gave us for ice creams, and our lunches at Dianella Plaza, where we would have hot chips and milkshakes while you shared the chocolate off the top of your cappuccino with us.

We remember dancing along to your Christmas tree music toy at all times of the year, hiding amongst the toys in your front room because we never wanted to leave your house, and hearing about you feeding the magpies (which explained where all the bread kept disappearing to. Nanna always wondered why there was more bread on the shopping list!).

Our Saturday afternoon visits at MyVista were so special. We loved playing bingo with you. You would always let us put the bottle caps on the numbers, pretending you hadn't noticed the number being called out. You were always interested in our stories, our adventures and everything happening in our lives. You made us feel so loved and always made time for us. We will always remember the first Harmony Day evening celebration at MyVista, when you won first prize at the raffle. Noah still can’t believe you won!

Thank you for loving us, all the laughter we had, the cuddles, treats and treasured memories. We were so lucky to have you as our Nanna White, and we will carry a little piece of you with us always.

Nanna White, I think anyone who has had the privilege of bein in your presence could attest to the fact that you are the most loving, caring, polite, nurturing and gentle people they have come across.

I will forever miss listening to your stories. Stories of when you were a young lady, stories about my dad when he was a little boy, and stories about life with Ron and the love you shared with him. I will forever miss sitting around your dining table, listening to you tell these stories over chinese food or fish and chips, while you made sure we were always well fed.

Now, I never minded when you repeated the same stories every once in a while. In fact, I think those moments are something I will cherish the most. Because every time you retold a story, it was a reminder of just how much you loved life and how deeply you cherished every person who had been a part of it.

You spoke about people with so much love, and it was clear that the memories you held were some of your most treasured posessions.

I aspire to show the same amount of love that you did. To make people feel cared for and to create the kind of memories that people will carry with them long after I am gone.

Thank you for the love you gave so freely, for the stories you shared, for the meals around your table, and for the example you set for all of us.

You will always be in mine and everyone elses hearts. Love you Nanna.
