2021 Bowra & O’Dea Women’s Classic
17 years of Supporting Women’s Golf.
We are proud to have sponsored the 2021 Bowra & O’Dea Women’s Classic, which returned to Lake Karrinyup Country Club from 22nd to 24th of March. Golf WA details just how perfectly the tournament went, with beautiful weather here in Perth and plenty of phenomenal players taking part.
“2021 marks seventeen years of generous support from sponsors Bowra & O’Dea. The fifth generation, family-owned, Western Australian funeral company have been great supporters of women’s golf for many years. Joe O’Dea shared in his presentation speech, “I am so thrilled to be part of this event again. It is something I really look forward to each year. Delighted too that we were able to include some interstate competitors this year and run the event at Lake Karrinyup.”
“The ranking points on offer in this competition help to attract a prominent interstate presence that ensures the field is incredibly competitive. The Women’s Classic has three separate handicap divisions to provide an opportunity for women of all ages and abilities to compete.”
“The 72-hole event is played from the Women’s Championship Tees and has a maximum GA Handicap of 18. The 54-hole section of the tournament is split into two categories, mid-amateurs (30-54 years of age) and seniors (55+ years). The maximum GA Handicap for these categories is 27.”
