Dr Nikki Stamp’s Inspiring Story
A passionate heart for medicine
Dr Nikki Stamp FRACS is an Australian cardiothoracic surgeon, writer and TV presenter. Nikki trained throughout Australia and holds a Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medicine with Honors. She also holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in cardiothoracic surgery. Dr Nikki is a passionate supporter of the Heart Foundation and women’s heart disease advocacy, a mentor and supporter of women in surgery and women in all careers. She has written two books, ‘Can You Die of a Broken Heart?’ and ‘Pretty Unhealthy’, with her third book ‘Scrubbed’, a deeper dive into the more personal aspects of her life and her job.
